Visiting London? Keep These in Mind

London is full of many fascinating and interesting things to see. However, for first-time visitors, choosing the best can be a little daunting. Here are a few places we think you should consider on your first visit to London.

Visit the most famous park in London, Hyde Park.

In addition to the rich history of this park, you’ll find many artists and musicians at work along with memorials dotted around. Consider having a picnic here.

Take a glimpse into London politics in Westminster

This area of London is where you’ll find the House of Parliament, Big Ben, and Westminster Abbey.

Experience the vibrant nightlife of Soho.

Here you find a long lineup of theatres, restaurants, and jazz bars. Once known as the “red light” district, you’ll still find somewhat of a risqué vibe to the area. However, this is one of the most interesting places for nightlife.

Shop and mingle with the locals along Oxford Street.

Who doesn’t like to do a little shopping when on vacation? Check out Oxford Street where you’ll find major stores such as Selfridges, House of Fraser and Debenhams. Need to grab a bite to eat? You’ll have plenty of options for cafes and restaurants. Oh, and this is one of the safest areas of the city to explore.

When you think of England you probably first think of visiting London, the capital of England and the United Kingdom. Similarly, to America’s New York City, London has a lot to offer in ways of culture, the arts, culinary and great sights to see.
